Amber beer is a high fermentation beer. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. The name of the beer refers to its color: the beer is clear and amber. The color comes from the ''special B'' malt used.
The special malt gives the Amber beer a more intense taste of spices or caramel. It is fresh, has an aroma of roasted malt, and a slightly sour, refreshing finish. Amber beer is also called Belgian ale.
