Dame Jeanne Brut sur Lie, brewed as an aperitif beer and considered a "champagne beer" due to the use of champagne yeast.
Brut beers are rarely encountered as aperitifs, but they are definitely worth exploring. A lot cheaper than Champagne and certainly flavorful.
This Dame Jeanne has an alcohol content of 8.5% and has a nice, effervescent head.
The taste is fruity and slightly sweet.
