The Japanese Single Malt comes from the Sakurao Distillery, already known for its Togouchi Whisky and Sakurao Gin brands. The whiskey is distilled with great care in specially calibrated stills, making it particularly smooth. The three-year aging takes place in four different types of barrels. These include bourbon casks, new casks of American white oak, sherry casks and mizunara casks. Its aroma is mild with accents of raisins, oranges and peaches. The taste contains complex notes of sweet vanilla and subtle bitterness, as well as fruity acidity.
