Saison is an orange-yellow to bronze-colored summer beer typical of Hainaut and Walloon Brabant. It is brewed with a high content of fermentable sugars and undergoes a warm maturation with dry hopping. The raw hop character is offset by the unfermented sugars that can form the basis of a possible refermentation in the bottle. This refermentation contributes to the sparkling and fruity character of this typical summer beer.
