Tournay Noire
Tournay Noire is a dark stout with an alcohol content of 7.6%. The beer has a deep, almost black color with a robust beige foam head. It is brewed by Brasserie de Cazeau, a brewery with a long history dating back to 1753.
This beer offers a rich and complex taste experience. It has a slightly woody aroma and a malty flavor with a pronounced coffee aftertaste. The taste is well-balanced with notes of chocolate and a hint of vanilla and licorice. The bitterness is noticeable but not overwhelming, providing a pleasant drinking experience.
Tournay Noire is brewed with natural ingredients, including water, four types of malt, two types of hops, yeast, and sugar. The hops used are Tomahawk, Warrior, and Cascade. The malts are carefully selected to provide a powerful and lasting flavor.
Brasserie de Cazeau is located in Templeuve, Belgium, and has a rich history spanning more than eight generations of brewers. Since 2004, the brewery has been led by Laurent Agache, who remains faithful to traditional brewing methods while also innovating and exploring new flavors. Tournay Noire won the award for best stout in Wallonia in 2014.
Tournay Noire is best served at a temperature of 10-12°C. It is an excellent companion to desserts, especially with speculoos ice cream, and also pairs well with stews. For optimal flavor, let the beer breathe for a moment before drinking.
